Numerical Simulation of Gas–Liquid Two-Phase Flow CFD–PBM Model in a Micro–Nanobubble Generator

A micro–nanobubble generator is the most critical component of micro–nano flotation equipment. Understanding bubble generation characteristics in plays a vital role optimizing performance device and improving fine-grained minerals. In this study, to explore evolution bubbles cyclonic jet cell, flow field parameters gas–liquid two-phase inside were solved using CFD–PBM combined with Luo’s population balance model. The internal size was range 0.99 μm 140 μm. After gas entered from suction pipe, it mainly moved center tube, diameter relatively large at time. With movement, broken into small then toward periphery tube. Thereafter, smaller-diameter gathered formed large-diameter bubbles. average generated gradually increased approximately 30 110
